How You Can Help
Due to the devastating tornado that struck Joplin on May 22, 2011, St. Mary's Church, School, Rectory and Parish Center were leveled. Plans for rebuilding are underway. We have had multiple inquiries about donations to help in this effort. Bishop Johnston has established the Bishop's Relief Fund which provides aid to the tornado victims. Donors may specify how they want their gift to be used and the diocese will honor this. Donations for this effort may be sent to Bishop's Relief Fund, 601 S. Jefferson, Springfield, MO 65806.
In addition, we will accept gifts to rebuild St. Mary's Elementary or for scholarships to assist our families whom have been affected at:

If your gift is for the rebuilding of St. Mary's Elementary, please specify that in the check memo. The thoughts and prayers for our Catholic community and the community of Joplin have been felt during this trying time of recovery. God bless you all.
