3. Special acknowledgements / accomplishments / issues / concerns: We held our firs t Home and School meeting on Wednesday, September 2^nd with approximately 35 parents attending as well as all of our teachers. Agenda items included Fall Fun Night (Friday, October 30^th), treasurer’s report, popcorn, our playground, various fund raisers, bookfair, and other items. Football players and cheer leaders came to lunch at St. Mary’s on Friday, August 28^th, the day of the first football game.

4. Teacher accomplishments / acknowledgements: Rick Barnhart met with our teachers to discuss the new religion series we are using, Blest are We, published by RCL Benziger.

5. Building /Grounds updates: Home and School under the guidance of Tracey Goodhope and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gaillard, are working to level and adjust the fill below the climbing equipment.

6. General comments / updates: Pam Black is organizing our annual “Used Book Sale” which will be held Friday, September 18 from 2:00 to 5:00, Saturday, September 19 from 8:00am to 2:00pm, and on Sunday, September 29 starting at noon and ending at 1:30. All items have been donated to us to sell, which include books and everything else except clothing. Monies made will be used to purchase books for our school library.
