Alumni

JACS alumni are a vital part of our school family. As graduates of McAuley Catholic High School and part of the Joplin Area Catholic School family, alumni are a testament to the life-long education received at St. Mary’s, St. Peter’s and McAuley. We enjoy sharing our alumni’s accomplishments with our students, and would be happy to host our alumni in our classrooms to speak about their experiences and careers or have a field trip to a place of business.

News and events

Alumni meetings are typically held on the second Wednesday of the month at McAuley.

We love it when our alumni come back and visit! There are many updates to our system, and we enjoy sharing these updates and other current events with our alumni. Consider attending one of those upcoming events. Call the Development office at 417-624-5003 ext. 207 for more information.

• Class of 1966 is having their 55th reunion on Sept. 11 at 11 a.m.
• Class of 1971 is having their 50th class reunion on Sept. 18 at 2 p.m.
• Banner raising honoring Sr. Diane “Mary Kent” and Coach Jim Wyatt on Sept. 11 at 11:45 a.m.

The McAuley Catholic Alumni Association is rebuilding the Marian Grotto. In addition to the rebuilding of the Grotto, they are selling paving bricks and granite blocks. This area is used as a peaceful retreat area for students, as well as a reception area for social outdoor gatherings or for those who would simply like to reminisce.

The Alumni Association is offering this opportunity to McAuley friends, parents and alumni to establish a legacy to:

• Commemorate your son or daughter’s graduation
• Honor a special teacher
• Remember a loved one
• Recognize your alumni class
• Pay tribute to a student organization
• Recall your days at McAuley, St. Peter’s and St. Mary’s
