During the Missouri Future Business Leaders of America’s state award presentation, Elizabeth Motazedi was awarded the I Believe Scholarship. She is the first McAuley Catholic High School student to receive this scholarship.The I Believe Scholarship is a group memorial scholarship, which honors of the members and advisers the Missouri FBLA has lost since the creation of the Foundation Board in 2014. Just asMissouri FBLA;s mission lives on forever, so will the memory of these members.
Motazedi, a senior, applied for the scholarship including submitting her resume, cover letter, recommendation letters, and other FBLA information. In 2019-2020 Motazedi served as the District 17 president as well as McAuley Catholic’s chapter president. She served as the vice president of communication for the chapter in 2018-2019, and was the McAuley Catholic chapter secretary for the 2017-2018 school year.
