Before Christmas Break, students in 4th and 5th grade were given a complete list of the official Joplin Globe Spelling Bee words. Classroom spelling bees will begin on January 14th and the second on January 21st. Winners from both classroom bees will compete in the St. Mary’s Spelling Bee on Friday, January 31st starting at 9 a.m. with six students participating. The Joplin Globe Spelling Bee will be on March 16.
