Hold onto your beanbags and get your lawn chairs ready! St. Mary’s Home and School and the Lown family are planning an INCREDIBLE evening of fun on Saturday, September 24 that you won’t want to miss!
Get those cornhole boards out and start practicing for St. Mary’s Cornhole Tournament! Download a registration and sponsorship form, which can be dropped of at the school office or emailed to jlown@jacss.org. There are two divisions for two-person tournament play, child (5th Grade and under) and adult. Registration forms may be dropped off at the school office or emailed to me at jlown@jacss.org. Check in begins at 5:30 p.m. the day of the tournament with bags flying at 6:00 p.m. Great prizes will be awarded for First – Third place in each division, with other prizes presented as well. If your family has a cornhole board that you would let us borrow for the tournament, please let us know.
Area food and dessert trucks will be catering the evening and beverages will be served from the event’s beer garden. Commemorative silicon cups and t-shirts will be available for purchase as well.
After the tournament wraps up, the Lown family has once again underwritten our annual St. Mary’s Outdoor Movie Night. Families can spread out on our grassy area behind the school with lawn chairs, and may also bring snacks to enjoy. Mr. and Mrs. Lown will be popping popcorn for everyone and fifth grade will have a concession stand and glow store. The movie will begin at dusk.
As you can tell, this is going to be an INCREDIBLE evening of family fun at St. Mary’s! You can make the evening more special be attending 4:30 p.m. Mass together as a family at St. Mary’s and then walking over for a wonderful school event.
