St. Peter’s Catholic Middle School
The transition from elementary school to high school offers many new opportunities and challenges for children. We seek to bring Christ to our youth to develop their faith and continue to solidify the academic background established in elementary school. We provide students with a faith-filled curriculum including daily religion class, earth science/physical science/biology, math including advanced math, ancient history, American history, geography, language arts and literature classes, Spanish, music, art, PE/Health, and computer applications. We also have an enrichment Wednesday when students have the opportunity to take exploratory classes in things such as cooking, sewing, origami, or participate in a walking club. Our students also help publish a yearbook and can participate in Liturgy Choir, STUCO, Scholar Bowl, and other sports related activities.
As a middle school, we are committed to an education that fits the needs of an early adolescent’s mind to increase the emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual and social aspects of life. St. Peter’s Middle School educates children in grades 6-8, with the personal attention children this age still need yet keeping their future transition to high school in mind. Located next to McAuley Catholic High School, we strive to help students come to know Christ, grow in their faith, and continue their church connection as they age.
