Children's Haven DonationEach month, St. Mary’s Elementary School has a charity dress day which benefits local and national charities.  For the month of November students brought in gently used or new coats, jackets, hats, gloves, and mittens. These items benefited Children’s Haven. St. Mary’s students brought in 94 coats and jackets, 88 hats, 77 sets of gloves and mittens, and 14 scarves. Students also brought in over $200 to donate directly to Children’s Haven for their needs. St. Mary students brought in so many cold weather items that we were able to take items to Crosslines in Joplin as well. The beautiful focus of Catholic schools allows our students to put into practice the Christian principles, values, and morals taught in our classrooms.
