Spend the weekend exploring the Arts in Joplin! Visit Spiva this weekend and check out the Emerging Expressions: A High School Art Showcase presented by the Kiwanis Club of Joplin and Spiva Center for the Arts. The art exhibit features students from area high schools including McAuley Catholic's Nolan M. He received 3rd place in the exhibit.


Our FBLA students recently competed in the Crowder College Business Contest. They came home with new trophies to add to our collection! They received 1st place in Personal Finance as well as Marketing for our District.
Individual winners include Chase G. with 1st place in Economics, Norah G. who received 3rd place in Entrepreneurship, Sydney E. who placed 3rd in Marketing, Jadyn L. who received 2nd place in Marketing, Juliet A. who placed 2nd in Personal Finance, and Jadyn L. who placed 1st in Personal Finance.


We welcomed one of MasteryPrep's instructors to our school for an ACT Bootcamp today. MasteryPrep is a tool we invested in for our students to utilize and help boost students' scores for the ACT. The Bootcamp was well received by students and staff, and we are excited to see our students put what they've learned into action.


Holy Thursday is a half day of school and there is no after school care available. There is no school on Good Friday or on Easter Monday.

Our senior class - joined by history teacher Mr. Youngworth and Dr. G - experienced a day immersed in history by visiting the National WWI Museum and the Negro League Baseball Museum. They also enjoyed delicious KC BBQ.




Congratulations to our Knights of Columbus, Father Harter Council #979 essay winners - Ethan S., Nicholas S. and Abigail G.
Mrs. Bond's senior English class participated in the Knights of Columbus essay contest with the theme "How can the Church Evangelize in the Digital Age?"


Our students compete in Districts for the One Act "Gossip" by Brian Hamilton at 4:30 today. We are so excited for them!


Congratulations to the boys basketball team for securing a share of the Ozark 7 Conference Title!

We are celebrating our seniors who played in winter sports. We will start the senior night ceremony directly following the JV boys game, which begins at 5 p.m.. Along with senior night, with a win, our varsity boys team would secure a conference championship tonight!

Thank you to all who supported our junior class with their cinnamon roll fundraiser including Coach Stancell and Coach Youngworth. There were 196 dozen cinnamon rolls made!

A tradition for our students - designing and creating the posters to display in the gym during Homecoming. Get ready for a Night at the Disco on Friday, January 26th.


The 41st Annual Mercy-Warrior Classic is quickly approaching! AD Howard sent out the schedule for the tournament this week. Apparel orders are due by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23rd.
