Each year, we receive nominations for the Benefactor of the Year award. This prestigious award is presented to an individual or individuals who significantly contribute to our system in extraordinary ways. This year’s Benefactor of the Year are a shining example of selflessness and dedication to the betterment of our schools and parishes.
Our honorees' quiet generosity strengthens Joplin Area Catholic Schools each day. They have a deep commitment to our mission and a sincere desire to support our students, faculty, and families. Their generosity, offered without expectation of acknowledgment, demonstrates a profound dedication to the long-term strength and success of Joplin Area Catholic Schools. Their impact is immeasurable; their humble service ensures that our students experience a thriving, faith-filled environment every day. Volunteer hours given quietly behind the scenes, classroom support, and generosity to the Sister Norbert Endowment, Legacy of Faith Fund, Mercy Scholarship Fund, and JACS Fund often go unseen. For many of our students, however, these gifts have opened doors that would not have been possible otherwise. These individuals embody the true spirit of service giving freely of their time, talent, and treasure without seeking recognition, thanks, or acknowledgment.
This year’s Benefactors of the Year: Anonymous Benefactors.
In recognition of these anonymous benefactors, a plaque will be placed in the halls of our schools as a quiet reminder of the faithful stewards among us—those whose generosity reflects Christ’s love and continues to open doors, strengthen our mission, and shape lives for generations to come.
